This five-day school will provide Iowa Law Enforcement Academy certification as a Bike Patrol Instructor. This is a rigorous five-day course which will provide an instructor certification in the area of defensive tactics. Required clothing and equipment will consist of an athletic T-Shirt, BDU style training pants, athletic shoes, duty belt, training weapon if available, ballistic vest, mouth guard, and handcuffs.
