Proficiency Standards: Volunteer Instructors must be proficient in Officer Safety, Felony Stops and both Driver and Passengers side approaches.
We are hoping to connect Field Certified Instructors to assist us at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy with guest instructors for our basic classes.
If you are able to assist with these classes please register on the appropriate time. Instructors earn credit for their department that can be applied to certain other training topics sponsored by ILEA.If you need information on your status as an ILEA certified instructor to teach this subject please reach out to the Academy at 515.331.5778.
