Officer Investigations (Back the Blue Legislation) Course *ILEA Online Academy*

This 4-hour school is designed to satisfy training hours required in 501-80F.1(22) (Back the Blue) regarding interviewing/investigating an officer subject to a complaint. In this school, registrants will receive 2 hours of fundamentals of interviewing and 2 hours of legal, including: A) Peace officer public safety, and emergency personnel bill of rights, B) Garrity warning, and C) Peace officer disciplinary hearings. The legal training segment is conducted by a licensed attorney familiar with Iowa law.
