This 32 hour school will provide certification as an Iowa Law Enforcement Bicycle Patrol Officer. Students must be confident and proficient in riding in all skill areas and be able to demonstrate each skill. Topics will include: uniform conduct of the skill tests, bike maintenance, and sports injury. Firearms qualification and firearms range safety as it pertains to the bike officers will be addressed. Class enrollment will be limited to certified Iowa Law Enforcement Officers only.
Please note that meals are not provided at the Academy.
Cost: $300
Agency will be billed after class concludes. ILEA does not accept pre-payment at this time.
