Expandable Baton Instructor Renewal

ABOUT THE TRAINING:

This four-hour course will provide instructor recertification for the expandable baton and ASP baton. Officers will be instructed in force management and straight baton curriculum, and will be tested by a written and practical examination. Required clothing and equipment will consist of a Department Training Polo or T-Shirt, BDU style training pants, athletic shoes with good lateral support, duty belt with baton and holster ballistic vest, mouth and groin protection and handcuffs. This will extend a valid certification for three years, expiring 12/31/2027. No sweats or shorts please.

Students must have completed an instructor baton class (either expandable or ASP) prior to attending this course.

COST: $125
Agency will be invoiced after the school. ILEA does not accept pre-payment at this time.
